Remote Learning

The document below shows you Sutton Bonington's agreed approach to remote learning.  This procedure has been updated in November 2021 to be in line with the current COVID 19 situation.  It is increasingly unlikely that entire classes will isolate now and the main issue is around individual children isolating in a class.  The class teachers are obviously in class when this occurs, so they will ensure that work is provided by the following morning in the event of a pupil being off school with COVID 19 related reasons.  Please note, if the child is not well enough (due to COVID), we expect them to not undertake work until they are well enough again - like they would do with a regular illness.

 This procedure incorporates the following:

  • What the school will provide for an individual/small group of pupils who are absent from school for COVID 19 reasons.
  • What the school will provide if a class/classes are required to work from home due to COVID 19 reasons.
  • What the school will provide should there be a further national or regional lockdown.

If you have any questions or queries regarding the school's approach to remote learning, please contact us via the school office.  If you are isolating and require a device, please contact the school office.
