We understand that from time to time, children may not be able to attend school for valid reasons (e.g. isolating due to illness within the home, severe weather conditions). Where this occurs, we ask that children complete work remotely. If known in advance, teachers will be able to specifically allocate materials for children to use in line with what is being covered in school. Should there be limited notice, teachers will direct families to use materials from the Oak National Academy.
The Oak National Academy provides a range of online lessons for children to access. One English, one Maths and one other subject area should be completed for each day of absence. Children should also complete 30 minutes of independent reading. The Oak National Academy can be accessed by clicking here.
We will always endeavour to support pupils who are unable to come into school in person to the best of our ability. Please contact the school office should you need any further help.
